8th Annual Art Contest Begins
Ulmer’s Auto Care is excited to kick-off our 8th annual Art Contest! This year, we’re asking students to draw their dream car. Is it a Lamborghini? The Batmobile? Maybe it’s a Chevy Silverado, a VW Bug, or perhaps just that really cool black and red mountain bike – or a car all their own!
Every year we receive submissions from up and coming artists from all over the Cincinnati area. Students use their imagination to draw, paint, color, and sketch one-of-a-kind designs. For 8 years, Ulmer’s Auto Care has sponsored this contest and selects a winner from every grade as well as an overall “Best in Show” winner.
Important Contest Details
1. One entry per student. Entries available from your art teacher.
2. Illustrations must be done exclusively by the student themselves and by hand in any media (paint, pencil, marker etc.), NOT by computer.
3. Finished artwork should be submitted on an 11” x 8.5” sheet of paper, with the image being no larger than 10” by 7.5”
4. Entries due to your art teacher by April 10th, 2017.
5. Entrants will compete against other students from neighboring schools for prizes. One winner per grade level and one Best of Show winner.
6. All artwork will be judged by a panel of professional artist and sponsor’s management. The panel’s decisions are final.
7. Award winners will have their work professionally framed and displayed for one year. All entries will be returned to the artists.
We’re excited to discover the next Picasso!
